Doing a Tap Flap

All right, guys, Today, let's talk flaps. So this step in particular, we've got a few fun tips to give you to make sure you get the best flap possible. First, you're making two sound similar, like you did in a shuffle we’re using the... just the ball, the toe tap of our top shoe. Third, we still have a super flexible ankle, a super relaxed ankle.

So it sounds a lot like a shuffle, doesn't it? Here's the difference. Our foot stays on the ground when we're in the midst of this step. This is a great way to change your feet, change your weight. If I do a shuffle, I'm stuck standing on the same foot. If I flap, that's how I can make the same noise.

But I can change feet. So an example being. Yes. We want to make sure we transfer our weight. That is the key difference. So similar to a shuffle, we make two noises using just the ball of our foot or the toe tap and we have a nice relaxed ankle. But the big difference? We change our way so that we can switch feet.

Yes. Have fun practicing that at home and we'll see you next week for another Tuesday Tip.
